Senior Marketing Manager - Brand and Programs

As the Senior Marketing Manager - Brand & Programs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our comprehensive brand strategy across diverse touchpoints, with a specific emphasis on youth sports and multi-sports engagement. This leadership position requires an individual with extensive experience in strategic brand management, exceptional creative direction skills, and a proven track record of driving impactful brand experiences, especially within the context of youth and multi-sports. 

What you'll do:
  • Implement an event marketing strategy with Sr. Director of Marketing – Brand & Programs and internal marketing team on tentpole events and activations that align with brand and revenue goals.  
  • Develop and manage the brand and programs marketing budget, allocating resources effectively and optimizing marketing spend to achieve desired outcomes.  
  • Act as primary liaison for the Marketing department within all RCX Sports departments to facilitate and optimize communications and marketing efforts.  
  • Work closely with digital, PR, creative, and other marketing leads on the development of landmark planning, events, and activations.  
  • Plan and implement marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring the project meets timelines, budget perimeters, and overall standards to enhance the programming of RCX Sports event experiences 
  • Create, track, and analyze event marketing and benchmarking metrics highlighting event performance including registration, attrition rate, and other actionable data point to expand future events  
  • Provide current, accurate and reliable information to Sr. Marketing Director: Brands & Programs including daily, weekly, monthly activities, initiatives, and team progress  
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of direct report to support the Marketing Brands and Programs team including marketing coordinators and interns 
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.  

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field  
  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in brand management leadership roles, with a focus on youth sports and multi-sports initiatives.  
  • At least 4 years of experience collaborating and partnering with professional sports organizations to produce exceptional brand experience events 
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing impactful brand experience strategies in the context of youth and multi-sport initiatives 
  • Prior experience developing and managing event marketing budgets  
  • Prior experience creating, tracking, and analyzing event marketing metrics and benchmarking  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance management.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  
  • A strong understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior in youth demographics, and the multi-sports landscape.

Additional Position Details: 
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 40% of the time 
  • Department: Marketing 
  • Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing - Brand Experiences 
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have full-time direct reports 
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with regular travel on nights and weekends 
  • Compensation Structure: Salaried (paid semi-monthly), FLSA-Exempt, eligible for annual discretionary bonus based on Company and personal performance 
  • Location: Hybrid – Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI – This position will regularly work at least 3 days per week on-site at the RCX Sports office in Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI (candidate preference) and may occasionally work from home.
