Who are we hiring?
The KC Current Retail Operations team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop, manage and grow our retail Shopify online store operation. This role will hold an integral part in our retail website build, item maintenance, SEO management, and online reporting integrations. This individual will be responsible for oversight of the e-commerce operation including meeting online sales goals, online copy editing, image selection and maintenance, promotional deployment in our online retail environment and working cross-functionally to grow the ecommerce business. 
 
What will you do?
·         Support retail operations through maintaining ecommerce website integrity, layout, and design. 
·         Responsible for SEO maintenance and site layout integrity
·         Accountable for item audits, product updates, and overall retail item maintenance online. 
·         Responsible for online promotional deployment. 
·         Manages and recommends app and add-on integrations for Shopify.
·         Tracks & reports cart abandonment, conversion, sales, marketing campaigns and other KPI analytics for online store. 
·         Creates online specific promotional initiatives to drive online retail revenue.
·         Partners with marketing team to integrate and promote joint initiatives through online retail stores. 
·         Design and maintain Club VIP site to service the e-commerce needs of partners and other special groups.
·         Supports procurement team through vendor compliance messaging & audits. 
·         Supports procurement team through retail software data entry and non-online platform item maintenance.
·         Supports operations team in stores on event days. 
·         Delivers exceptional detail through independent work on assigned projects. 
·         Other duties & responsibilities may be assigned.
 
What do you need to succeed?
·         A strong background in ecommerce retail and/or retail operations required. 
·         5 years of Shopify ecommerce site maintenance work history required.
·         3-5 years of retail store employment history and/or related collegiate coursework required. 
 
Special requirements of the Job:
  • Passion for Kansas City and/or women’s soccer 
  • Knowledge of Kansas City Current brand 
  • Collaborative and able to work well with a team.  
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Experience handling multiple projects at once. 
·         Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays.
·         Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time sensitive matters with senior executives. 
·         Travel may be required: <10 %.
  • Ability to drive/work from club office located in Riverside, MO (M-F) 
  

Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer. 
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking long distances. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
