Senior Director, Partnership Innovation & Growth - Corporate Partnerships - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Director, Partnership Innovation & Growth within our Corporate Partnerships group.  The individual will be charged with creating and selling new sponsorship platforms, ultimately driving incremental sponsorship revenue to the organization.  This person will utilize a research and fan-centric approach to deliver breakthrough sponsorship innovation, within the sport of golf.

Qualified candidates will have the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing; Sports/entertainment property sales experience a plus; Sports sponsorship or agency experience a plus
  • Fan-centric, research-based mentality and strategic mindset
  • Track record of developing, pitching, selling and executing creative, ground-breaking new marketing programs
  • Excels in sales protocols/strategy and managing against sales revenue goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with and gain the respect and trust of a wide range of people at all levels of seniority, internally and externally
  • Ability to leverage relationships and connections to gain entry to potential prospects for pitches


  • Lead team to conceive, develop and build ground-breaking new sponsorship platforms, using a fan-centric, research-based approach; New platforms to be cross-channel in nature, with alignment across various mediums, including: on-site at tournaments, TOUR digital platforms and event telecasts
  • Gain necessary internal alignment required to commercialize ideas
  • Prospect for new partners, strategically aligning sponsorship platforms with potential sponsors’ business & marketing objectives
  • Create compelling presentations, sales materials and proposals that appropriately represent new platforms in sales efforts
  • Deliver incremental sponsorship revenue to the organization by selling new platforms to new and existing corporate sponsors
  • Utilize new platforms to tap into under-penetrated sponsorship categories, while attracting new fans within emerging audience segments
  • Provide thought leadership within Corporate Partnerships around platform development, prospecting & sales and overall group strategy 
  • Effectively develop and manage team of two partnership marketers and collaborate with PGA TOUR business development team
