CRM Senior Manger - Digital - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a CRM Senior Manager within our PGA TOUR Digital team. The Senior Manager of CRM will be responsible for; (1) developing processes, communication standards and tools to ensure marketing manager is optimizing spends; (2) cultivating, building, and leveraging relationships and data to improve the effectiveness of marketing activities; (3) effectively integrating with the data and marketing teams; (4) and for maintaining and optimizing the presence and performance of product or campaign-level digital efforts

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM marketing
  • Proficiency in back-end CRM solutions
  • Ability to own projects, take initiative and work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible, diplomatic, resourceful, Excellent communication skills
  • Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to handle & prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities:

 Help drive fan acquisition strategy, retention and engagement through segment-specific marketing plans and data modeling.

Segmentation and Fan Experience

  • Develop segmentation strategies specific to various marketing campaigns and programming
  • Manage and develop fan strategies and journeys based on insights and findings
  • Partner with cross functional teams to provide insight on existing fan segments and acquisition targets

Direct and E-Marketing

  • Assist with targeting and pull lists for teams
  • Refine test process for marketing programs to improve campaign performance and ROI
  • Research and share best practices of CRM activities and campaigns with internal teams
  • Track and measure all direct and e-marketing results and learnings

Loyalty

  • Provide insight on data capture best practices and monitor long term results
  • Assist with establishing loyalty strategy and plan that aligns with key business objectives
  • Develop loyalty campaigns to drive increased consumption of our media

Inside Sales Representative - Championship Management - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently are searching for an Inside Sales Representative within our Championship Management Department. This commissioned position primarily sells hospitality packages for PGA TOUR sponsored events with potential to sell larger items (i.e. - Pro-Am, Sponsorship etc.) and provides direct support for tournaments to help achieve departmental revenue goals. Inside Sales Representatives participate in a sales development program structured to prepare entry level sales staff for higher level sales positions within our organization.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Associate’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 6 months – 2 years prior experience in sales, sports, customer service or entertainment preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire for a career in sales
  • Advanced computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to relocate when position is complete

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and sell available hospitality, sponsorship and pro-am inventory for select tournaments on the PGA TOUR
  • Prospect and research businesses with the goal of setting appointments with decision makers
  • Assist with sales and retention efforts including servicing and upselling existing and new clients and accounts
  • Manage interactions with clients and prospects through use of CRM system including accurately documenting client information and abiding by policies and procedures
  • Professionally communicate to gather all relevant details; communicate with supervisor and provide timely follow up
  • Communicate with marketing, tournament support, community management, product management and account management to promote new campaigns, and offerings
  • Special project and other duties as assigned

We presently have an opportunity for a Sales Representative for the Web.com Tour Championship golf tournament in Atlantic Beach, FL.  This position will report to the Tournament Director and will contribute to the sales efforts of the tournament by generating sales for pro-am and hospitality packages. The Sales Representative will be expected to generate new business, renew existing clients and handle the administrative functions associated with these sales.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of corporate business experience required; Prior experience in sales, sports, or entertainment a plus
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required

Responsibilities:

  • Sell pro-am and hospitality sponsorship packages to new business prospects, as well as existing clients 
  • Meet and exceed weekly call, meeting and presentation goals
  • Provide the highest level of service through constant communication and follow through with prospects and current clients
  • Build relationships with Web.com Tour Championship Sales Board and charitable partners
  • Circulate and manage administration of Sales Agreements to renewal clients within the established deadlines
  • Enter all sales activity and agreements into the tournament CRM

We presently have an opportunity for a Content Analyst within the Digital Department.  The Digital Content Analyst measures, analyzes and reports content performance and audience engagement on PGA TOUR’s digital platforms. The Digital Content Analyst will further enhance the Digital Content Team’s data-informed decision-making strategy by measuring content performance, conducting analysis and assisting with data-driven projects and research. This position will play a key role in reporting performance measurements to a wide range of PGA TOUR teams and departments, organizing large amounts of content and audience data, and assisting with day-to-day management of data and analytical tools.   

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Math preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role.
  • Background in web analytics and database management is required
  • Experience in a media organization or sports organization preferred. Background in golf or golf interest is preferred
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms and the current landscape is required
  • Strong communication and organization skills required 

Responsibilities:

  • Measure performance and results of content activations and initiatives, and develop reporting documents and dashboards for content and audience related information that is shared with the Content Team and other departments
  • Access and organize content data using database storage networks, reporting/measurement tools, social media platforms, etc.
  • Analyze PGA TOUR content across channels and platforms, and assist with developing actionable insights and recommendations for the Content Team
  • Research and report long-term trends, and assist with conducting content studies to develop best practices
  • Collaborate and communicate with Content Team members regularly around current and future plans
  • Participate in regular creative team brainstorms
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment

Opportunity

  • Sales Manager, focused on selling new business corporate hospitality at the RBC Canadian Open.  Candidates should have a proven track record and a book of business that can be converted.

Reports To

  • PGA TOUR, Senior Director, Revenue

Start Date/Location

  • July 31th, 2017 - Target
  • Full-time, based in Oakville

Main duties include:

  • Aggressively solicit local marketplace with all sales opportunities including Hospitality, Pro-Am, Sponsorships, and Ticket packages at RBCCO
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets
  • Prospect, cold call, generate leads, develop relationships, understand customer needs
  • Present hospitality, sponsorship and ticket package options to prospective companies
  • Manage day-to-day sales activity and provide updates on leads, sales and other pertinent information relating to sales through a weekly hospitality sales report and daily CRM
  • Review the status of sales with respect to budget; Provide current reports and recommendations to meet established sales goals and objectives
  • Post event follow through (i.e., financial reconciliation, patron thank you letters and feedback, performance reviews and event recap and renewal)
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including PGA Tour, Golf Canada Operations and RBCCO Championship staff to ensure optimal sales strategies are being implemented

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education with degree in Business, Communications, Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of business to business sales experience
  • Sports background with event management or team sponsorship or hospitality sales preferred
  • Proven track record of uncovering new business
  • Well-established contacts in small-medium GTA business community
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • CRM activity based sales, management and protocols (Salesforce preferred) 
  • Self-motivated, confident, proactive, and style that assimilates within a team environment
