Senior Digital Designer - Creative Services Department - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Digital Designer within the Creative Services Department. This role would be responsible for keeping the creative department on the forefront of digital innovation by researching and implementing new technology, training other team members, as well as maintaining a consistent digital production workload.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, or related field

  • Strong knowledge of Google Web Designer and DoubleClick, or equivalent digital ad tools and solutions

Responsibilities:

We presently have an opportunity for an Art Director within the Creative Services Department who. We are looking for an Art Director who has experience working with entertainment or sports brands. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and executing creative campaigns for various business objectives and initiatives. We presently have an opportunity for a Photography Editor in our Photography Services department.  This position is responsible for editing, processing and archiving all photo assignments in a deadline-oriented environment. Work with Supervisor, Staff Photographers, Image Librarian and Project Coordinator to catalog content across multiple platforms. Maximize the brand impact and value of the PGA TOUR’s photography assets from our staff and freelance resources as well as our partners.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a sports photo editor, knowledge of PGA TOUR preferred
  • Keen eye and strong sense of photographic composition and design
  • Macintosh operating system and related network functions (file storage/sharing)
  • Proficient with Photo Mechanic, Adobe Photoshop CC, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom and Microsoft Office; InDesign a plus
  • FTP file transmission
  • Experience with asset management platforms (i.e. Photoshelter) and file transfer protocols
  • Understands industry standards for file format, resolution and color space
  • Knowledge of digital cameras; photography skills a plus

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and / or related area of study
  • Minimum 2 years Commercial and/or Cable or Broadcast network promo editing experience.
  • Good storytelling skills, music and visual design sensibility is required
  • Client friendliness and the ability to maintain calmness and productivity under deadline pressure are all a must
  • Must be able to take direction, collaborate with others, and be productive when working independently
  • Highly skilled with Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere

  • Understanding of the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting techniques, interviewing and editing of material
  • Proficiency with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: Nonlinear video editing applications (Avid Media Composer, Final Cut or Adobe Premiere)
  • Familiarity with non-linear audio editing (ProTools or Adobe Audition) and computer graphics (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred

Senior Producer - PGA TOUR Entertainment - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Producer within PGA TOUR Entertainment. The Senior Producer is responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assigned network broadcast programs, commercial vignettes, ancillary programming and/or TOUR related projects.  Oversee assigned production teams and manage daily production schedules on a per project basis.  Establish relationships with appropriate network personnel and/or staff in various PGA TOUR departments to ensure proper coordination of projects.  Mentor/assist in the development of production staff to improve product quality. Work with Executive producer and Senior Director of Production on planning of projects and personnel assignments.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
  • Minimum ten years in the television production industry with prior staff management experience
  • Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production and all phases of post-production, as well as developing program content, formulating show budgets, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming
  • Experience in the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material
  • Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: digital non-linear video editing, nonlinear audio editing and computer graphics.
  • Solid computer skills
  • Familiarity with advancing and emerging technologies and techniques related to television production
  • Sports production background preferred, experience with the game of golf a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned broadcast shows, special programs or TOUR related projects.  Manage the daily planning and execution, in coordination with Executive Producer and Senior Director of Production, of all assigned programs and/or projects. Supervise personnel on the assigned projects
  • Oversee the editorial content of assigned projects to ensure that the quality is at the highest level
  • Coordinate with Senior Director of Production in setting shooting and edit schedules; administer personnel assignments regarding those schedules
  • Manage team, and its work, daily; work with Producers to maintain project budgets. Oversee logistics and administrative duties
  • Determine creative standard, approve ideas, scripts, edits and the final product on assigned projects
  • Produce programming and projects as assigned
  • Develop lines of communication and relationships with various PGA TOUR departments to ensure efficient execution of projects
  • Handle client relations, make contacts, get creative approvals and follow through on assigned projects
  • Lead/assist in the development and execution of new business opportunities and proposals
  • Execute programming as appropriate that reflects the PGA TOUR’s overall objectives and initiatives
  • Conduct regular informal employee performance feedback sessions with assigned personnel to encourage short and long-term employee development

Content Assistant - International Content - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Content Assistant within the International Content Department. The International Content Assistant is responsible for supporting the production of custom content, international media programming & projects and research for the TOUR’s international content strategy. Primary responsibilities include research for existing and new international content projects, support for Director, International Content and maintaining details on content being produced by sports leagues and content houses in key markets. Also, responsible for assisting during all phases of production as needed. 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, International Business and/or related area of study
  • Minimum one year experience in production, international media and/or related field
  • Basic understanding of field production and post-production is preferred 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the International Content team through tasks including but not limited to; researching content ideas, assisting producers, collecting performance data & evaluating the content landscape in key international markets
  • Support the Director, International Content as directed
  • Research content ideas for key international markets
  • Attend Digital Content team meetings and develop a complete understanding of content being produced & planned for their platforms
  • Develop an understanding about the International Media partnerships
  • Research content being produced by other sports leagues & content houses, maintain a database of content available by league and market
  • Handle uploading any information & content to the EIF website including scripts, music reports, transmission details etc… in a timely manner and prior to deadlines.

  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties, including faxing and filing scripts, music reports, shipping tapes, etc.
