Media Logger - PGA TOUR Entertainment - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Media Logger within PGA TOUR Entertainment.  Located at our offices in St. Augustine, FL this position is responsible for utilizing the Dixon logging application for the detailed scene by scene logging of incoming video content including all PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, Web.com Tour, PGA TOUR Canada, PGA TOUR LatinoAmerica and PGA TOUR China live telecasts, ENG acquired field footage and any other content that will be archived into the Media Asset Management (MAM) system.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Experience in the detailed logging of video content preferred; experience with Media Asset Management and/or logging applications and concepts preferred.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Flexible work schedule required, may include nights and weekends.
  • Golf knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Log assigned incoming footage as instructed by supervisors.
  • Maintain maximum level of accuracy and detail as outlined in logging procedures documentation.
  • Complete all required pre and post-logging reports.
  • Check schedule multiple times daily for any changes to logging shifts/times.
  • Support other Library and Media Asset Management requests as assigned.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.

Information Technology: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Senior Producer (Korean Content) - Digital Content Team - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Producer (Korean Content) within the Digital Content Department.  The Senior Producer serves as the content lead for Korean digital platforms, working closely with other members of the Digital Content Team to plan and develop compelling stories for use across the Korean website and social media platforms. As a digital storyteller, the Senior Producer is responsible for building content that will generate audience interaction across platforms. 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Must be fluent in Korean
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Journalism or Communications preferred
  • 3-6 years’ experience in creating content for use on websites and social media platforms
  • Experience in editing and/or content management role with a digital publisher is preferred
  • Background in golf preferred; strong interest in golf required
  • Strong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spelling
  • Strong knowledge of the social web including content creation, best practices, success metrics and emerging platforms
  • Design/photo/video editing skills are required

 Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital strategy for PGA TOUR programming in Korea
  • Develop, edit and program content for use on the PGA TOUR’s Korean website and across relevant social networks (Facebook, Kakao Talk, etc.)
  • Manage and coordinate with on-site content creators and third-party content creators in Korea to deliver compelling content across platforms
  • Oversight of content promotion budget (Facebook)
  • Develop expertise on website CMS. Update the site as needed and communicate with third party in Korea on website needs.
  • Communicate effectively across the Content Team throughout shift rotations, ensuring other producers are able to cover Korean content as needed
  • Work with Content Team members to create unique packages as events develop
  • Adhere to brand standards and established voice across platforms
  • Work collaboratively with other content creators; take part in regular creative brainstorming and pitch sessions
  • Utilize available data to make or adjust programming decisions across platforms
  • Available to travel for content creation opportunities at key events throughout the season
  • Available during competition hours, which may include evenings and weekends
  • Adapt to changing editorial conditions in a short time frame

Technical Project Manager - Information Systems - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Technical Project Manager within our PGA TOUR Information Systems team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading project teams in day-to-day execution of assigned IS projects.  This position reports to the Senior Director of I.S. Customer Service and is responsible for accomplishing all phases of assigned projects, including project charter development, project initiation and facilitation, project plan development, risk and issues management, quality planning, and communications planning, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget in accordance with business priorities.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • B.S. in Information Systems Management or equivalent.  Masters certificate in Project Management from ESI or PMP certification from PMI is preferred.3-5 years of project management experience in a digital environment5+ years Information Systems Project Management experience
  • Experience managing Java and other software development projects preferred
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON and scripting methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with project stakeholders, team members, management and vendors/business partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.  Capable of quickly building strong relationships with the internal project team and business stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive, and accountable with the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a steady work pace with a high level of accuracy while effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Director - International Content - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Director within the International Content Department.  The Director is responsible for the creative development, distribution and execution of all international content including ancillary/shoulder programming, long/short form, development content and live broadcast. Have a full understand of content needs in key international markets. Work directly with International Media department to develop and execute international content strategies. Oversee the assigned teams for all international media production. Work with all levels of producers on planning of projects and personnel assignments. Establish relationships with appropriate network of staff in various PGA TOUR departments. Assist in the development of production staff’s skills to improve product quality  

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, International Business and/or related area of study
  • Minimum ten years in the television production industry, prior staff management experience preferred
  • Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production and all phases of post-production, as well as developing program content, assisting in formulating show budgets, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming
  • Sports production background, experience with the game of golf, international programming knowledge and experience working with international platforms preferred

 Responsibilities:

  • Research and understand content being produced by other sports leagues & content houses. Develop relationships with international content creators at other leagues and Federations
  • Coordinate & manage content produced for international markets
  • Lead a team specialized in international content strategy, production and distribution
  • Evaluate international content and develop long term plan to create more opportunities for Business Development team to sell
  • Review and understand production and content commitments within all International Media deals
  • Oversee the Custom Content team, work with them to develop and manage the TOUR's international custom content strategy from China and other key Asian markets
  • Oversee the relationship between PGA TOUR Entertainment and International Media at a senior level
  • Oversee the operational support infrastructure for PGA TOUR clients and ensure technical information is communicated effectively
  • Work closely with the digital content team to collaborate on international ideas
  • Manage team, and its work daily. Oversee logistics and administrative duties
  • Oversee budgets associated with international transmission, custom content & international media production
  • Manage the daily planning and execution, in coordination of all assigned programs and/or projects.  Supervise personnel on the assigned projects
  • Produce & oversee the editorial content of assigned projects to ensure that the quality of all projects is at the highest level
  • Determine creative standard, approve ideas, scripts, edits and the final product on assigned projects
  • Execute programming as appropriate that reflects the PGA TOUR’s overall objectives
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to travel internationally

Digital Project Manager - Digital Product & Operations - PGA TOUR (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

We presently have an opportunity for a Digital Project Manager within our Digital Product & Operations Department. The Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of integrations across the PGA TOUR’s digital platforms and products. Integrations could be for new products to be added to the PGA TOUR Digital Portfolio, or enhancements to current products.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • At least three years of technical project management, design and development on Internet-based platforms, preferably with consumer-facing products
  • Technical background with understanding software development and web technologies; familiarity with XML and JSON is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or other project management practices used in iterative development environments
  • Effective time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple simultaneous project streams with independent, and sometimes competing, timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs
  • PMP certification a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of the PGA TOUR and the game of golf is helpful, but not required

 Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with PGA TOUR Digital Product Managers for the execution of projects. Understand the business goals & objectives, as well as required functionality, of new products or enhancement of current products
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving Product Manager(s), relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility
  • Conduct testing during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project development lifecycle. Escalate questions about features and functionality to the Product Manager
  • Work with and manage external PGA TOUR partners and vendors to achieve the new product development goals of the organization
  • Manage project plans, monitor progress, and track project to completion; Communicate changes to the project scope, schedule and costs to key stakeholders
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and escalate issues to management, as warranted
