USA Water Polo internships provide training for the benefit of students interested in Olympic sports and non-profit sports management and administration. Interns may receive college credit; as these are unpaid positions.

Candidate should possess:
Own transportation & living arrangements
Willingness to work for class credit only - non-paying internship
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong inter-personal communication skills
Strong organization/multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented mindset
Ability to be a self-starter--proactive and flexible

Responsibilities:
• Team USA is going to the Olympics and this department is looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us reach our fundraising goals.
• Manage donor data entry for complex peer to peer campaign & annual fund. Assist in improving the efficiency and organization of the donor management platform.
• Event focus: procuring silent auction items and assisting in execution at event, event décor, on course activity, and day of execution.
• Aid in the stewardship & solicitation of donors via mailings, events, and hospitality.
• Assist in campaign activation(s).

Requirements:
Proof of current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program OR Master’s program
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Candidate should possess:
• Interest/experience in non-profit/volunteer work
• Events management or volunteer experience
• Comfortable with meeting and interacting with individuals and groups
• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• CRM database (or equivalent) knowledge (not required, preferred)
• Working knowledge of email and calendaring
• Strong organization/multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to be a self-starter—proactive and flexible
• Willingness to help as needed and be a team player
