In the last 30 years, Buffy has helped recruit over 100,000 people into jobs with sports and live event employers either through her executive search practice or her online network. Her clients have included the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, NASCAR, PGA TOUR, as well as teams in all major leagues as well as many minor leagues. She's recruited for the Salt Lake City Olympics, 1994 World Cup, 1999 Women's World Cup, numerous National Governing Bodies, as well as sports marketing agencies such as IMG, Kemper Sports, and corporate sponsors such as Gatorade, VISA, and Chevron/Texaco.
Buffy started her career with Wilson Sporting Goods' Chicago headquarters' promotion department and rose to Manager of Racquet Sports and Golf Promotion, London, before joining IMG as their first female sports agent. She represented #3 ranked Andrea Jaeger. She managed the site selection, marketing and promotion of the Women's Professional Racquetball League, the Foster's Lager Tennis Legends Tour for over 35-year-olds and the Charlton Heston/Canadian Club Pro Celebrity Tennis Tour. In 1984 she joined Korn/Ferry International, retained executive search firm, and landed her first sports search, CEO of the Women's Tennis Association. A 1976 graduate of Indiana University and varsity letter winner in tennis, Buffy and her husband, Mark, have a 27 year old son, Davis.
