Position Profile:  Stadium Services Supervisor
Department:    Stadium Operations
Reports to:    Vice President of Stadium Operations & Facility Operations
Supervises:    NA
Status:    Full-Time, Exempt 

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the University of Kansas Health System Training Complex as it pertains to the cleanliness, and overall tidiness of both the interior and exterior of the facility. This role involves managing a team of utility maintenance staff, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well maintained to support the needs of the football operations, coaching and business staff.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.Coordinate and oversee all cleaning activities within the football practice facilities including locker rooms, weight room, showers, restrooms, meeting rooms, cafeteria, administration offices, and common areas.
2.Ensure all equipment is in place and ready for practice, meetings and for any special requests. 
3.Develop, manage, and maintain staffing and workload templates for all cleaning, maintenance, and event set up functions. 
4.Develop proficiency using work order and staff checklist software system as a tool to observe work complete and hold staff accountable.
5. Collaborate with facility maintenance staff to address any cleaning related issues or maintenance needs in a timely manner.
6.Serve as a point of contact for facility related inquires and communicate important information to relevant stakeholders.
7.Develop and manage procedures for emergency cleaning situations such as spills or accidents and ensure prompt response and resolution. 
8.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment needed. 
9.Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
10.Manage housekeeping services on the Service level/locker room area of the stadium during special events and gamedays.
11.Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

7. Ability to directly manage 6 to 10 union staff employees. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


1. Moderate to difficult – must be in good physical condition. 
2. Must be able to walk long distances.
3. Must be able to lift/carry objects weighing 20+ lbs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):


1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in facility management, preferably in a sports or recreational facility setting.
3. At least 5 years’ experience scheduling and/or managing staff in an event driven           environment.
4. Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.
