ASA Entertainment has been a leader in action sports event and television production since 1994.  Our company develops, manages and executes over 250 event days and television programs annually in skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, surfing, freestyle motocross and music.  Our events range from large-scale nationally televised pro competitions to smaller grassroots contests, exhibitions and mobile tours.
 
We are currently seeking an Event Operations and Business Development professional to oversee the design, building, maintenance and support services for the company’s customized action sports events.  This person must possess excellent leadership, communication, organizational, research and follow up skills as well as the ability to manage others.  The ideal candidate would be a proactive, creative, hard-working, reliable, detail-oriented self-starter with a minimum of 4 years of event operations experience.  Knowledge of CAD or another design program is a big plus.
 
The focus of the position will be in overseeing event operations for the company’s Super Girl Pro Series, three festival-style events developed to empower women and provide opportunity, inclusion and equality for women in a variety of industries.  Super Girl has been running for 18 years so many relationships are already in tact.
 
This person will also play a key role in booking high schools for the company’s national Bullying Prevention High School Tour (No Hate Tour) and be involved with business development / sponsorship sales.
 
The position is based in Indialantic, FL (two blocks from the ocean) and reports directly to senior management.
 
Responsibilities will include:
 
1) Overseeing event operations for the company’s live events, as such:
o   Overseeing all event logistics
o   Procuring third party vendors for site operational needs
o   Permitting
o   Budgeting
o   Designing event site plans
o   Coordinating trucking and shipping
o   Hiring and overseeing operations and ramp staff at each event
o   Collaborating with the company’s vendors
o   Working with cities to build, maintain and remove event sites / venues
o   Coordinating with and fulfilling the company’s television requirements
o   Overseeing the storage and maintenance of all company owned equipment including ramps, soft goods, signage, vehicles, etc.
o   Communicating and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all sponsorship deliverables are executed in a timely manner and to the highest possible standards
o   Working with the company’s accounting manager on invoicing and payments
2)     Booking schools into ASA’s Bullying Prevention High School Tour (free program)
3)     Selling corporate sponsorship to ASA’s national events
4)     Booking additional College, Military, Festival, Sports team and Theme Park events
5)     Researching, identifying and securing unique partnerships
 
ASA Entertainment has been an established industry leader for the past 30 years and offers a fast-paced work environment and competitive benefits package.  Compensation includes salary, booking fees and commission with unlimited earnings potential for successful individuals.  Bachelors degree from a 4 year University and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
